MISENHEIMER, N.C. (Oct. 7, 2025) — Pfeiffer University remained unbeaten on the season with a dominant 7-0 victory over Johnson & Wales University in an nonconference women's tennis match on Tuesday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.
The Falcons (3-0) controlled both singles and doubles play from start to finish, dropping just one set across all matches. Pfeiffer opened the match by sweeping all four doubles courts, highlighted by a 6-2 win from
Fanny Apostolou and
Haley Ingenito at the No. 1 position.
Sydney Cohen and
Riley Isley,
Kristen Colie and
Gracie Spangler, and
Brianna Lail and
Anna Smith each posted 6-0 victories to secure the doubles point.
In singles play, Pfeiffer continued its dominance. Apostolou rallied from a set down to defeat JWU's AnnaKatherine Medlin 4-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-5) at No. 1 singles. The rest of the Falcons lineup cruised in straight sets, with Cohen,
