Pfeiffer Men's Cross Country Finishes Third at NCAA South Region Championship
SALEM, Va. (Nov. 15, 2025) — Pfeiffer University delivered a standout performance at the NCAA Division III South Region Cross Country Championships on Saturday, finishing third overall with 79 points and an average time of 25:12 over the 8K course at Green Hill Park.
The average time is the best in program history while the Falcons placed five runners in the top 25. All five runners earned All-Region honors based on their finishes.
Senior
Camden Misenheimer added depth with a 61st-place finish in 26:54.5, helping secure Pfeiffer's best regional finish in program history.
Washington and Lee captured the team title with 39 points, led by Robert Cooper (24:33.3) in third place. Lynchburg finished second with 57 points, paced by individual champion Alex Jordan (24:15.2).
Helms, Powell and Clemente-Garcia have all qualified for the NCAA Championships, which will be held at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
As a team, Pfeiffer will await the announcement of the full field for the 2025 NCAA Championships on Sunday, Nov. 16 by 3:00 p.m. on NCAA.com
