Pfeiffer Sends Three Runners to NCAA Cross Country Championships
Misenheimer, N.C. (Nov. 17, 2025) – Pfeiffer University had three men's cross country runners selected to participate in the upcoming NCAA Division III Cross Country Championship on Saturday, Nov. 22.
Senior
Sawyer Helms and junior
Cannon Powell will be returning to the NCAA Championship for the second-straight season after their performances in the NCAA South Region Championships this past weekend in Salem, Va.
Helms finished in 10
th place with a 24:49.4 time while Powell finished 13
th with a 25:05.Â
Freshman
Jorge Clemente-Garcia earned a trip to the NCAA race with a 14
th-place finish, completing the course in 25:07.
The 2025 race marks the second-straight season that Pfeiffer has sent runners to the NCAA event.
The NCAA Championship will be conducted at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. with the men's race at 10:00 a.m.
