Pfeiffer Volleyball Earns Two Wins on Saturday
Misenheimer, N.C. (Sept. 27, 2025) — The Pfeiffer University volleyball team earned back-to-back victories on Saturday at Merner Gym, sweeping N.C. Wesleyan in USA South play before rallying to defeat Bob Jones University in four sets.

In the early match, the Falcons (5-9, 2-3 USA South) cruised past N.C. Wesleyan 25-13, 25-18, 25-10, behind a balanced attack and strong serving. Pfeiffer recorded 12 service aces and 33 kills, led by
Faith Miller and
Haedyn McGrath with seven kills apiece.
Madison Tate added five kills and five total blocks, while
Gabby Edwards anchored the defense with seven digs.
Later in the day, Pfeiffer overcame a first-set loss to take down Bob Jones 22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-23. McGrath led the way with a season-best 14 kills and a .429 hitting percentage, while Miller and Tate combined for 17 kills and eight blocks.
Junior setter
Karmen Rion dished out 26 assists and served four aces, and Edwards again paced the back row with 23 digs.
All told, the Falcons totaled 55 kills and 77 digs in the second match.
Pfeiffer wills tep back into USA South play with a road match on Tuesday, Sept. 30 when they travel to Brevard College. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
