SALEM, Va. (February 20, 2026) — Pfeiffer University remained unbeaten Friday afternoon, rolling to a 7–0 win over Roanoke College in nonconference women's tennis action in Salem, Va.
The Falcons (5-0) swept all three doubles courts to secure the opening point before dominating singles play with straight-set victories in all six matches.
Haley Ingenito and
Fanny Apostolou earned the first doubles win of the day, claiming Court 1 with a 6-3 result.
Sydney Cohen and
Riley Isley followed with a 6-2 victory at No. 2, while the tandem of
Kristen Colie and
Gracie Spangler completed the doubles sweep with a 6-2 decision at No. 3.
Pfeiffer carried that momentum into singles play. Ingenito opened with a 6-0, 7-6 win at the top flight, while Apostolou added a 6-2, 6-3 result at No. 2. Cohen handled Court 3 with a pair of 6-2 sets, and Spangler cruised to a 6–1, 6–1 finish at No. 4.
Isley and
Claire Germain closed out the match with matching 6-1, 6-1 victories on Courts 5 and 6, completing the Falcons' clean sweep.
Pfeiffer will return to play on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 2:00 p.m. against Piedmont at the Knapp Tennis Center.
