LYNCHBURG, Va.(Sept. 4, 2026) – Pfeiffer generated more chances and held a decisive edge in corner kicks, but Randolph capitalized on its opportunities to hand the Falcons a 2-0 women's soccer loss on Friday evening at WildCat Stadium.

The Wildcats struck first in the 19th minute when Holly Bermingham scored off an assist from Amanda Ramirez-Rodriguez, giving Randolph a 1-0 advantage at the 18:03 mark of the opening half.

Pfeiffer threatened throughout the match, finishing with a 10-8 advantage in shots and an 8-0 edge in corner kicks, but Wildcats goalkeeper Kacie Walker turned away all five shots on goal she faced to earn the shutout.

Randolph goalkeeper Walker preserved the lead with second-half saves on Allred, Bido and Gudino before the Wildcats added an insurance goal late.

With just under five minutes remaining, Ramirez-Rodriguez scored an unassisted goal in the 86th minute to extend the margin to 2-0 and seal the victory.

In goal for Pfeiffer, freshman Jerusalen Gonzalez made two saves while facing eight shots.
