MISENHEIMER, N.C. - Top-seeded Lees-McRae College cruised past Pfeiffer University 5-0 in the first round of the 2010 Conference Carolinas men's tennis tournament on Friday afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center. The Bobcats needed a 9-8 and 8-6 win at #1 and #2 doubles en route to the doubles sweep. The Falcons end their 2010 campaign 8-10 overall.

In addition to doubles, Lees-McRae took straight set wins at #1 and #4 singles play to clinch the match. In tournament play, the match ceases when a team has reached the five points needed to clinch the match. The full box score can be found above.
