MISENHEIMER, N.C. – The Pfeiffer Falcons (7-4, 4-0 CC) men's tennis team were victorious over the Lees McRae (0-11, 0-6 CC) on Tuesday by the score of 7-2 at the Knapp Tennis Center. Nils Hoffacker led the Falcons past the Bobcats Joao Araujo, 6-1, 6-1 in the first position.
Also in singles, Oscar Van Kock defeated Gabriel Muniz , 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the second position. Axel Woerner defeated Sebastian Zuhr, 6-3, 6-1 in the third position. In the fourth position, Bjorn Barwinski took down Garrett Lakey, 6-0, 6-2. Anthony Brennan defeated Thomas Deeley , 6-2, 6-1 in the fifth position. Cole Douglas-Fields had the only Bobcat win as he defeated Eduan Louw in the six position, 6-3, 6-4.
In doubles earlier in the day, Hoffacker and Woerner defeated Muniz and Araujo, 8-5 in the first position. In the second position, Van Kock and Barwinski defeated Garrett Lakey and Zuhur, 8-0. Fields and Deeley defeated the team of Zach Huffman and Bradley Batten, 8-4.
The Falcons return to action on Friday as they travel to North Greenville in a Conference Carolinas match with first serve at 2:00 p.m.
