Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Falls in USA South Opener
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 14, 2022) – Visiting Huntingdon College jumped out to an 8-0 lead en route to a 13-3 win over Pfeiffer University in the Falcons' USA South women's lacrosse opener on Sunday morning at Lefko Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Huntingdon scored three goals in the first quarter and five in the second quarter before Pfeiffer broke through with a goal from sophomore
Julia Barbato (West Palm Beach, Fla.) at 3:53. Two more goals by the Hawks provided the 10-1 margin at halftime.
Pfeiffer freshman
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) scored the first goal of the third quarter with an assist to Barbato to close to 10-2. Another pair of Huntingdon goals closed the third quarter with the score being 12-2.
Huntingdon scored at 10:01 of the fourth quarter to push the lead to 13-2. Barbato would score the final goal of the game at 8:33 on a Robinson assist to provide the 13-3 final.

Barbato's goals boosted her season total to nine for the Falcons with Robinson's goal giving her six on the season.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Jordan Pendergraft (Apex, N.C.) had nine saves on the afternoon while facing 32 shots.
