Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Picks Up 18-12 Win at Brevard
Brevard, N.C. (March 15, 2022) – Visiting Pfeiffer University used a big fourth quarter to bolt to an 18-12 USA South road win at Brevard College on Tuesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
With the game tied at 12-12 late in the third quarter, Pfeiffer scored six straight goals and held Brevard scoreless throughout the fourth quarter in winning their first game of the 2022 season by an 18-12 final score.

Alexis Murriel (Gastonia, N.C.) had a monster game, scoring seven goals and dishing an assist. She also had a team-best nine ground balls and caused seven turnovers.
Freshman
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) scored five goals and had a pair of assists in the win. Robinson caused three turnovers in the win while securing a pair of ground balls. Sophomore
Julia Barbato (West Palm Beach, Fla.) scored four goals and had three ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Senior
Tracy Torrez (Orlando, Fla.) and
Ashley Bragg (Dallas, Ga.) also added goals for Pfeiffer in the win.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Jordan Pendergraft (Apex, N.C.) made 10 saves for the Falcons in earning the win.
The win, the first of the season, also marks the first collegiate head coaching win for Pfeiffer head coach
Kathleen Mirgon.
