Manhattanville Takes 16-6 Win Over Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 9, 2023) – Visiting Manhattanville College outscored the Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team 5-1 in the first quarter on their way to a 16-6 nonconference win on Thursday afternoon at a sunny Lefko Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Valiants jumped on top at 10:32 of the first on a Marisa D'Angelo goal followed by a Pietra Cabral scored at 7:29 to make it 2-0.
Pfeiffer responded with an unassisted score from senior
Aly Hanlon (Summerfield, N.C.) at 6:43 to draw to 2-1.
Manhattanville then scored the next three goals to claim the 5-1 lead. In the second quarter, the Valiants scored five straight to lead 10-1 before freshman
Skyla Jo Charette (Fort Myers, Fla.) notched her first career goal on an unassisted score with eight seconds before halftime making it 10-2.
Two Manhattanville goals to start the third quarter boosted their lead to 12-2, but Falcon sophomore
Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) scored back-to-back Pfeiffer goals to make it 12-4.
Robinson would add two more goals on the afternoon, with Manhattanville taking the eventual 16-6 win.
