Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Records Fifth Shutout in Program History in 17-0 Win at Rival Greensboro
Greensboro, N.C. (April 1, 2023) – The Pfeiffer women's lacrosse team shutout an opponent for the first time since 2015 with a 17-0 road beating of rival Greensboro on Saturday afternoon at Pride Field

HOW IT HAPPENED
Five different Falcon players scored in the win, with Julia Barbato (West Chester, Pa.) beginning the festivities with a score at 12:02 of the first quarter.
Sophomore Analise Robinson (Winston-Salem, N.C.) scored the next two goals of the first quarter, giving the Falcons a 3-0 lead.
Pfeiffer added five more in the second half to take an 8-0 lead into halftime and added three more in the third, which included a man-up goal from Barbato at 5:35.
Barbato would score four of Pfeiffer's five goals in the fourth quarter to provide the 17-0 shutout win.
Pfeiffer goalkeeper Jordan Pendergraft (Apex, N.C.) made one save in the win while her Pride counterpart Carly Walton had 17 stops in the lopsided loss.
Inside the Box Score
Barbato finished with seven goals on the afternoon while teammate Analise Robinson added five scores and an assists. Robinson also had five ground balls while Barbato finished with five draw controls.
Freshman Ana Satchell (Conifer, Colo.) had three goals on the day while unleashing four shots.
The shutout win, was the first since a 15-0 home win in Misenheimer over Lees-McRae on April 9, 2015. Pfeiffer also blanked Erskine that season, winning 20-0 on the road on March 17, 2015
