Pfeiffer Women's Cross Country Competes at Paul Short Run

Bethlehem, Pa. (Oct. 8, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's cross country team took part in the 50^th annual Paul Short Run hosted by Lehigh University on Saturday, Oct. 5.

Pfeiffer took part in the 6,000m "white race" which featured much of the top runners in Division III.  As a team, Pfeiffer finished in 46^th place, while Amherst took the team title with Emory claiming the runner-up spot.

Individually, Pfeiffer's Maddie Hladik was the top Falcon runner, as she posted a time of 24:28, which placed her in 245^th position in the field of 407 runners.

The Falcons will return to race action on Saturday, Oct. 19 when they travel to Salem, Va. to race in the Roanoke Invitational at Green Hill Park.
