HOW IT HAPPENED
Pfeiffer started the 2024 season strong, allowing a lone goal to the Vikings in the first quarter, but gave up eight in the second quarter.
Down 5-0, Pfeiffer got into the scoring column when
Analise Robinson scored the first goal of the season at the 8:57 mark of the second quarter on an unassisted goal.
Berry would go on to tack on four more goals to go up 9-1 before senior
Chloe Johnson scored her first of the season with 15 seconds remaining in the quarter.
Berry would extend their lead to 16-2 in the second half with seven straight goals, Robinson scored again for Pfeiffer, this time on an player-up goal at 9:07 of the fourth quarter. Berry would close the game with three straight player-up goals to provide the 19-3 final.
Inside the Box Score
Robinson led the way for the Falcons with a pair of goals while Johnson added the other score. Freshman
Reagan Martinez had a team-best three ground balls while
Julia Barbato had a pair of caused turnovers to go along with two draw controls.
Senior
Jordan Pendergraft made nine saves for the Falcons in goal.
