Pfeiffer Women's Lacrosse Comes Up Short at Piedmont
Demorest, Ga. (March 23, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University women's lacrosse team hit the road for their first USA South road game and fell to the host Piedmont University Lions 16-8 on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Homestanding Piedmont broke open an 8-6 game in the second half, allowing Pfeiffer just two goals while scoring eight in the 16-8 win.

Falcon junior
Analise Robinson scored a game-high five goals while taking 10 shots. Robinson also had a pair of draw controls, one caused turnover and three ground balls in the loss.
Senior's
Julia Barbato and
Chloe Johnson had a goal each while freshman
Cerys Reid scored once.
Barbato led Pfeiffer will four draw controls while
Jordan Pendergraft led Pfeiffer with six ground balls. Junior
Emma LaFave had a productive outing with four ground balls and one caused turnover.
Pendergraft continued her success in goal, as she made 16 saves on the afternoon.
