Pfeiffer Men's Golf Opens Season With Ninth Place Finish at Kinder-Williams Invitational

Harrisonburg, Va. - (Sept. 17, 2024) – The Pfeiffer University men's golf team opened their 2024-25 season with a ninth-place finish at the Kinder-Williams Invitational hosted by Bridgewater College.

Falcon sophomore Connor Key carded his best career finish, as he finished in a tie for third place after a two day total of 142 (-2).  On day one, Key shot an even-par 72 and followed that with a 70 in the final round.  The 70 is the lowest round for Pfeiffer since Pedro Torres shot a 70 in the second round of the Camp Lejeune Invitational on April 9, 2022.

Pfeiffer's Eddie McDonald, playing as an individual, claimed a tie for 31st after he finished the second round with 75 (+3), finishing at 151 for the event.

As a team, Pfeiffer finished in ninth-place in the 18-team field.
