WINTER PARK, F.L. - Powered by seven goals in the second quarter and stingy defense in the second half, Pfeiffer University rolled to a 15-4 victory at Rollins College in non-conference men's lacrosse action on Monday afternoon. The victory sends the Falcons to 5-3 overall while the Tars drop to 2-7.

Each team traded a pair of goals in the first quarter of action as Justin Rose and James Shepherd opened and closed the quarter for a 2-2 game after 15 minutes. After Rollins' Connor Galvin scored man-up to put the Tars up 3-2, the Falcons would reel off the game's next 10 goals unanswered to take complete control.

Luke Granhnert got the scoring started before Rose would hit again in front of two-straight from Steven Tilmon. Shepherd would add three in this 10-goal stretch while Tilmon added one more in addition to Robert Hope and Tucker Hammock.

Chuck Magid would stop the Pfeiffer streak with a man-up goal at the 8:25 mark of the fourth quarter for Rollins before Cole Sheen, Hope and Tilmon would finish off the final three goals for the Falcons.

Shepherd and Tilmon would each finish with four goals on the day while Luke Gillespie scooped up eight groundballs. Tommy Melching would aid the Falcons by winning 11 of the 19 faceoffs at midfield.

Pfeiffer will now head to Florida Tech to wrap up the spring break trip to Florida with a 3:00 p.m. matchup in Melbourne, Florida.
