#8 Men's Lacrosse Doubled Up 14-7 at #7 Seton Hill; Host Limestone Saturday for League Title

GREENSBURG, P.A. - Seventh-ranked Seton Hill University handed eighth-ranked Pfeiffer University their second loss of the season doubling up the Falcons 14-7 in non-conference men's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon. The Griffins improve to 9-1 overall while the Falcons see their season-high seven game win streak end dropping to 11-2.

Kory Lutes and Spencer Allen would tallied first quarter goals as Pfeiffer and Seton Hill ended the first 15 minutes tied at 2-2. In the second, the Griffins scored four unanswered goals to take a 6-2 lead before Mike Triolo tallied twice and Steven Tilmon once as the Falcons trailed 7-5 at the break.

Seton Hill carried a 9-7 lead late in the third as Tilmon and Cole Sheen would score Pfeiffer's final goals of the day as Matt Delmonico scored three of the Griffins' final four goals to run away with the 14-7 victory. The Falcons were held scoreless during the entire fourth quarter as Chris Ilse made 13 saves in net for the Griffins.

Pfeiffer will get back into Conference Carolinas play on Saturday hosting Limestone at 3:00 p.m. The winner will become the regular season champion and take the #1 seed into the league tournament. Live stats for the title match will be available courtesy of http://www.gofalconsports.com.
