MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Pfeiffer women's volleyball team (0-17, 0-10 CC) was defeated in three sets by King (11-8, 5-3) on Saturday afternoon.
Senior Allison Rosas was the Falcons most productive player on the afternoon. Rosas finished with a team-high 10 kills on the afternoon as well as a .308 hitting percentage.
Summer Kremer led the Tornado with 14 kills and a .444 hitting percentage, while teammate Sarah Collins recorded 10 kills and a .421 hitting percentage. Kremer completed the double-double with 10 digs.
Laura Fortner added eight kills and five digs for the Falcons. Defensively, Haley Denny tallied a game-high 14 digs.
King had 12 service aces on the afternoon and finished with a .316 team hitting percentage in the victory. The Tornado won the match by scores of 25-17, 25-13 and 25-18 and never trailed at any point during the match.
The Falcons return to action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Belmont Abbey for a 2 p.m. match.
