Box Score

FRANKLIN SPRINGS, GA. - Aaliyah Jackson recorded a hat trick as the Pfeiffer women's soccer team (10-5-1, 8-1-1 CC) reached double digits in victories for the ninth time in the past 10 seasons with a 4-0 win over Emmanuel (3-13, 1-9). The Falcons also extended their dominance in Conference Carolinas play under Head Coach Elijah Denton as the Falcons have gone 53-31-8 in league play during Denton's tenure.

Jackson scored Pfeiffer's first three goals and Jennifer Baity added the fourth as Pfeiffer cruised to victory. For Jackson, tonight marked her second career hat trick which came almost two years to the day of her first such accomplishment. On Oct. 27, 2012, Jackson recorded a career-high four goals in Pfeiffer's 4-1 victory over Belmont Abbey.

With her three scores tonight, Jackson moves into a fourth place tie in school history with 28 career goals.

With the win, the Falcons remain in sole possession of first place in the conference, one point ahead of Limestone with one conference match remaining in the regular season. Pfeiffer has a chance to clinch home field advantage and a number one seed in the conference tournament with a victory Friday at Belmont Abbey.

Jackson opened the scoring in the fourth minute, scoring an unassisted goal. The junior struck again in the 36th minute off a feed from Caitlin Remington. Jackson completed the hat trick in the 62nd minute as Hannah Hill was credited with the helper.

Baity tacked on her fourth of the season off an assist from Brae Buster to give the Falcons the commanding 4-0 lead in the 69th minute.

The Falcons defense held Emmanuel to just one shot in the contest as Pfeiffer held a 23-1 advantage. Shots on goal were one-sided as well, with Pfeiffer posting a 17-0 total.

Blakeney Blair and Kate Halligan combined on the shutout in net for Pfeiffer, with Blair playing the first 80:34 before giving way to Halligan to close it out.

After dropping their Conference Carolinas opener to Limestone, Pfeiffer has gone 7-0-1 in their last eight league contests.

Pfeiffer returns to action on Tuesday as they travel to Catawba.
