Central, SC – The Pfeiffer Falcons (7-8-2, 5-5-1 CC) women's soccer team won their final regular season Conference Carolinas match at Southern Wesleyan (2-13-1, 0-10-1 CC ) by the score of 3-0 with the help of senior Aaliyah Jackson's three goals.
Jackson and the Falcon's jumped out to early to a 1-0 lead in the 8th minute of play as Hailey Havelind dribbled the ball the by the Warrior defenders and passing it off to wide open Jackson who shot if from ten yards out to get it by Warriors goalkeeper Courtney McNeil.
As the second half started, the Falcons and the Warriors remained close with the 1-0 score.
Almost as quickly as people got seated for the second half Jennifer Baity sent a 20 yard pass to Jackson who raced by the defense to make it 2-0 in the 46th minute.
In the 54th minute it was Jackson and Brae Buster that sealed a Falcons win when they connected for the Falcon third score of the day. Buster sent a pass to Jackson as she dribbled by her defender to beat McNeil on the left side.
Jackson's hat trick is her 2nd of the season as it improves her to a Falcon's season-high of 14 goals.
Pfeiffer goalkeeper added her fifth win of the season and adding her first shutout as she saved four Warrior shots.
With a comfortable lead in the second half, Falcons Jordan Yandle, Abby Ramsdell, and Maggie Walker all saw action for the first time this season.
Pfeiffer returns to action next week in the Conference Carolinas tournament as they travel to Mount Olive on Monday for a 2 p.m. kick.
