MISENHEIMER, NC- The women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Converse on Friday afternoon (25-20, 26-24, 25-20). The Falcons were led by Shenelle Charlot with 11 kills, .258 hitting percent and seven digs on the day.

Following a first set loss the Falcons fell behind 19-12 to start the second set. Pfeiffer answered with a 6-0 run, which was highlighted with kills by Laura Ann Fortner and Kayla Hyatt. Charlot put the Falcons ahead 21-20 with a kill. However it wasn't enough as the Valkyries finished the set on a 3-0 run.

Converse was paced by Katie Butler who recorded a double-double with 11 kills, 10 digs and had a match-high eight services aces. Krislyn Moore added a match-high 25 assists for the Valkyries.

Hyatt had six kills and nine digs for the Falcons. Freshman Talor Hewitt recorded a team-high 12 digs and added three kills.

Pfeiffer returns to action tomorrow for the season finale against Limestone. First serve is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
