MISENHEIMER, NC- The women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Limestone on Saturday afternoon (25-15, 25-19, 25-22). Senior Laura Ann Fortner concluded her Falcons career with a brilliant performance recording a team-high 10 kills and a .467 hitting percentage.

Following a first set loss the Falcons jumped in front of the Saints 17-13 to start the second match. However, the Saints rallied scoring seven of the last eight points including three consecutive services aces to take the second set.  

Rycki Ebert paced Limestone with double-double, Elbert recorded a match-high 16 kills and 12 digs. Natalie also turned in a double-double with 11 digs and a match-high 34 assists on the day.

Kayla Hyatt had six kills and six digs for the Falcons. Freshman Kirsten Hunt had six kills with a .714 hitting percentage and recorded three total blocks for Pfeiffer.

The loss today concludes the Falcons season, and Fortner's three year career. In her three seasons at Pfeiffer Fortner saw action in 149 sets and 53 matches. She recorded 194 kills and 90 digs in her stint as a Falcon.
