MISENHEIMER, NC- The Pfeiffer women's volleyball team (0-13, 0-7 CC) fell in straight sets to Emmanuel (5-9, 3-3 CC) on Saturday afternoon. Brittany Blackburn recorded a season best 17 digs in the contest, and Talor Hewitt posted a team-high six kills for the Falcons.

Sarah Neill led the Lions with a match-high 11 kills, to go along with nine digs and three serving aces. Emmanuel hit .375 as a team, Erica Burnham registered a .381 hitting percentage with 10 kill and six digs. Emmanuel was able to control the net recording seven total blocks compared to zero for Pfeiffer.

The Falcons return to action on Friday, October 7, as the Falcon travel to Mount Olive. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
