BANNER ELK, NC- The Pfeiffer women's volleyball team (0-20, 0-12 CC) lost a three set match to Lees McRae (9-15, 5-7 CC) on Tuesday night. It is the second time the Falcons have fell to the Bobcats in the last week. Sydney Freeman paced the Falcons with four kills and three digs on the night.

LMC racked up 33 kills as a team compared to only 14 for Pfeiffer, and had five total blocks for the match. Lexi Zangari led the Bobcats with five kills, two services aces and five digs. Darian Parsons posted a match-high 15 assists to go along with six digs and three services aces.

Senior libero Brittany Blackburn posted a match-high 11 digs for the Falcons, and Sam Smith chipped in with three kills. Talor Hewitt added three kills and six digs on the evening.

Pfeiffer returns to action on Saturday, October 29 as they host a tri-match. The Falcons play Belmont Abbey at 12:00 p.m. and then take on Chowan on 4 p.m.
