Box Score 2 Neumann Drops Pfeiffer Men's Lacrosse, 14-6
Charlotte N.C. (Feb. 23, 2019) – Visiting Neumann University outscored Pfeiffer University 7-2 in the first half en route to a 14-6 win in men's lacrosse action on Saturday night.

Senior John Allen scored three goals while Raymond Cox, Ben Zahorec and Treven King each scored a goal for the Falcons.
HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
Visiting Neumann jumped ahead 3-0 with Chris Bellon, Eric Conlon and Chris Augustine all scoring goals to lead 3-0 after the first quarter.
Second Quarter
Pfeiffer opened the second quarter with John Allen scoring at the 9:25 mark. He then tallied an extra-man goal with 6:33 left to pull Pfeiffer to within one at 3-2. Neumann then scored four straight goals to go ahead 7-2 at halftime.
Third Quarter
Pfeiffer came out strong in the third quarter, scoring four goals to draw to within 7-6. Cox started the scoring with an unassisted goal at 11:53 followed by another goal from Allen with 10:44 left. Treven King got into the scoring action at 9:40 on an assist from Spencer Stokes and Ben Zahorec scored on a feed from Jared Nelson at 8:24.
Neumann responded with three goals to go ahead 10-6 at the end of the third quarter.
Fourth Quarter
Neumann then scored four straight in the fourth quarter and held the Falcons scoreless to take the 14-6 win.

Pfeiffer will hit the road on March 2, visiting Western North Carolina to play Brevard to open USA South play.
