Box Score Pfeiffer Women's Soccer Gets 3-0 Win Over Averett on Senior Day
Misenheimer, N.C. (March 27, 2021) – The Pfeiffer University women's soccer team took a 3-0 win over visiting Averett University while celebrating the final regular season home match for six Falcons on Senior Day.

The Falcons wasted little time, with senior Cayci Eaton (Harrisburg, N.C.) scoring on a pass from junior Dayanna Riera (Bronx, N.Y.) in the seventh minute. Riera's pass through the Averett defense found a streaking Eaton, who launched a high shot that was tipped by the Averett goalkeeper and into the top of the goal.
After leading 1-0 at halftime, Eaton struck again in the 53rd minute, scoring an unassisted goal that made it 2-0.
Riera added a goal in the 55th minute on an assist from senior Gabby Bosak (Charleston, S.C.) to provide the 3-0 final.
Prior to the match, Pfeiffer honored six seniors, goalkeeper Madison Riddle (Mocksville, N.C.), goalkeeper Haley Zoltoski (Raleigh, N.C.), defender Patricia Summers (Lenoir, N.C.), forward Cayci Eaton, midfielder Meredith Manson (Auburndale, Fla.), midfielder Gabby Bosak and midfielder Rachel Mendoza (Salisbury, N.C.)
